Narrow The Search

One of the main goals when looking for a family dentist is to find one who can provide services for kids, teens and adults. Many of today’s family dental practices also offer some cosmetic procedures which can be a deciding factor in the search. When your teenager wants to have her teeth whitened for that special event for instance, it will be good to know that she’s in the experienced hands of an established family dental professional.

When both parents are working outside of the home and children are involved in school and sports activities there’s not much time left in the day. If you can arrange for everyone’s dental care needs to be met without having to bounce from one office to another it can save a lot of precious time.

It’s important that every member of the family feel comfortable in the dental environment. Part of the search for a family dentist should include a visit to the office. Once the prospects have been narrowed down make arrangements to tour the facility and meet the dentist, the hygienists and the reception staff.

Location is another concern. Emergencies do arise, especially when there are active children involved and knowing that if a tooth is knocked loose you can get to your dentist quickly can be a great source of assurance.

Charles R. Fana Jr., DMD PC offers the best in family dental care. Services are wide range to accommodate every age group. Call the office @ 912-352-3955.
