Dr. Charles Fana, Jr., DMD
Dr. Charles Fana has been caring for patients in Savannah for more than 25 years and has built Compass Dental on a philosophy of honesty, relationships, and comprehensive care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Louisville. Dr. Fana also completed a General Practice Residency at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, where he expanded his training in complex and comprehensive dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fana has focused on mastering a wide range of services so patients don't feel rushed or referred out unnecessarily. His clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, crowns and veneers, dental implants, dentures, extractions, and helping patients out of pain, always with an emphasis on results that look natural and last.
What truly sets Dr. Fana apart is the value he places on relationships. He takes time to get to know his patients personally, listens carefully before recommending treatment, and believes dentistry should be guided by what's best for the patient, not their wallet. Many patients have been with him for decades, which speaks to the trust and consistency he has built within the Savannah community.
Dr. Fana and his wife, Malissa, live in Savannah with their two children. When he’s not watching all things Florida State athletics, you are likely to find Dr. Fana hunting birds, skiing the slopes of Utah, or tinkering with his 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser.

Her clinical and administrative experience allows her to support patients and providers while ensuring efficient operations. She specializes in treatment presentation, insurance verification, and financial coordination, When she is not at work, she enjoys the beach, boating, and spending time with husband and their dogs.

Originally from Wyoming, Robyn has been in Savannah for 16 years. She is married and has 2 children & a yellow lab who keep her busy! She has been with doctor Fana for over 10 years and truly values the relationships she has developed with her patients. In her free time she enjoys gardening, traveling or boating with friends and family.

Brenda is a Savannah native and graduate of Armstrong State College. She brings to the practice 39 years of experience and loves doing great, quality dental care, comfortably and thoroughly. She and her husband have one daughter and she enjoys being mom to her two bonus daughters and MeMe to her four bonus grandchildren. Aside from making mouths and people feel great, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, decorating, and being a Core Leader at Community Bible Study.

Shauna, originally from the Savannah, Georgia area. Attended Effingham County High school before going on to study Dental Hygiene at Savannah Technical College. She is committed to delivering high-quality preventative care while creating a calm, supportive environment that helps ease patient anxiety and makes each dental visit a more positive and comfortable experience. In her free time she likes to play pickle ball, vacation with friends and spend time with family.
